at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Herald Way, East Midlands Airport, DE74 2TZ

on Saturday 1st October 2016

The bar will be open from 7.00pm with dinner served in the Wheatcroft Suite at 7.30pm

Menu

Spiced Lentil Soup (v) served with wartime malted loaf

Pressed Ham Hock Terrine served with glory bun toast, split pea puree and wartime preserves

Slow Braised Beef served in a red wine sauce with bubble & squeak, carrots and garlic green beans

Lord Woolton Pie (v) potatoes, cauliflower, carrots and swede topped with pastry and cheese

Patriotic Pudding (v) melody of fruit flan served with pastry cream and apricot glaze

Wonder Pie (v) sweet cherries in a cream cheese filling baked on shortbread biscuit

Tea or coffee

Followed by dancing to the Ockbrook Big Band playing songs from the 1940s accompanied by their wartime singer and rounding off the evening with a disco playing music from the 1940s to present day until 1.00am
