We're moving back to Harlestone for our 2nd Thursday meetings. But don't go looking for the Dusty Fox as the pub has reverted to its proper name: The Fox & Hounds. Is the makeover an improvement? By popular demand....we enjoyed T@3 so much in April we're doing it again, this time at Dobbie's Garden Centre in Watling St, Fenny Stratford (just south of MK). Please join us at the Red Lion pub in Preston, Herts SG4 7UD for hopefully good food, beer or cider shandy and fun. They tell me they do food every Saturday evening, but as things do change and nothing ever remains the same, you may like to call the pub on 01462 459585 to double check on the day. I wouldn't like anyone to go hungry. A pub in Liverpool where I organised a school reunion told me they did food, then decided not to that particular day, so I am always wary!

This month's "Postcode Pubcrawl" takes place at the historic Jug & Glass pub in Nether Langwith near Mansfield. The word 'langwith' means 'long water'. A stream runs through the village and in front of the pub. Lovely to sit beside on a summer evening. It is believed the Jug & Glass was built circa 1179 and was used as a dwelling for the monks who farmed the land around Wellbeck Abbey. Join us from 7.30 pm on Tuesday 31st for food and/or drinks.
