Drayton Manor Park is near Tamworth, Staffordshire, on A4091 just off A38/A446 and signposted from J9 M42 or exit T2 M6 toll. See www.draytonmanor.co.uk for directions, accommodation options and park map.
10.00am-10.30am
Meet and greet in the Hamilton Suite with tea, coffee and squash upon arrival.
10.30am-12.30pm
Explore the theme park and zoo in groups. The 15 acre zoo is home to over 100 species of animal including primates, big cats, penguins, reptiles and birds. Thrillseekers can ride on the Apocalypse drop tower, Shockwave stand-up rollercoaster, Maelstrom gyro-swing, Stormforce 10 reverse chute water ride or G-Force rollercoaster. Younger visitors have their own Thomas Land with 14 rides and attractions. There is also a carousel, train ride, ferris wheel, pirate boat, haunted house, wild west shoot out, dodgems, 4D cinema, water rides and much more.
12.30pm-1.30pm
Basket meal lunch with drink in the Hamilton Suite including a short talk on the history and future plans of this family owned park by their Managing Director. Please select menu choice.
1.30pm-4.50pm
Continue visiting the park and zoo in groups. Fun for all ages!
12.40pm-1.25pm
Buffet lunch including vegetarian options and hot and cold drinks.
4.50pm-5.00pm
Meet up at the vintage carousel for one last ride together before we say farewell.
