Herts Walk

The intrepid walkers of Hertfordshire (plus two visitors from the Netherlands) were up to their tricks again on 1 April.

Seven intrepid walkers entrusted themselves to Richard Allen's map-reading skills, which are generally reasonable but every so often go haywire - a bit like his cars! Unless anyone has evidence to the contrary, we had the youngest ever participant on a Mensa walk, namely Thomas Ormsby aged five weeks and six days, although of course he was being carried!

We met at Cottered, near Baldock, and had a very enjoyable five mile walk which included a bit of former Roman road and a windmill, followed by an excellent pub lunch on a very pleasant spring day.
