The Great Northern pub in Langley Mill (NG16 4AA) is hosting a quiz night to raise funds for Cancer Research UK. £1 per person to take part. Teams can be formed or bring your own. Free food (usually chips and sandwiches) during an interval plus chance to play sticky 13s card game for £2. Drink vouchers and cash prizes to be won! Optional raffle to raise extra funds too. Free parking in pub car park or on adjacent road and on Rainbow One bus route. Arrive around 8.00pm to get a seat and drink and have a chat before quiz starts 8.30pm.
