Come and learn how to set up your own website, meet the Chief Executive and Mensa Board members, and hear about Mensa's plans for the coming year - our 65th birthday - nationally and locally.
Last year's meeting in Milton Keynes proved very popular, so come and join us in Bedford on Saturday 22nd January at the Park Inn, St Mary's Street, Bedford MK42 0AR. Refreshments will be served at 1.45 pm, for a 2 pm start.
Want your own website? Both individuals and companies can benefit these days from an online presence. David Bolton will explain what you need to build a website, and will demonstrate the whole process from registering a domain name, linking it to a hosting service and then uploading a simple website. He'll demystify DNS, IP addresses and HTML in a user-friendly way. David is a fellow Mensan, and a software and website developer by profession.
Mensa Brilliant: 2011 is Mensa's 65th birthday. Learn from Chief Executive John Stevenage what is going to be happening to celebrate this special anniversary. There will be an opportunity to ask questions of John, new Mensa Chairman (and MK member) Chris Tyler, and other Mensa Board Members both during the meeting and afterwards.
